Claims- Appraiser - Property Damage

Job Summary Our claims office has an immediate opening for an Auto Field Appraiser, responsible for completing vehicle damage estimates, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Loya Insurance’s physical damage standards and state regulations. This role works with repair facilities to obtain an agreed price and timeline for repairs. Responsibilities Ensure proper vehicle tear down Determine repair time allotments and required labor operations Make accurate repair/replace decisions Assess and apply pre‑existing damage; complete accurate total loss evaluations Negotiate agreed price with shop decision makers and set time‑bound completion dates per Loya insurance standards Review and assess the validity of all supplement requests Proactively provide customers with information about their vehicle’s repair estimate and explain the claims/repair process Maintain accurate vehicle cost of repair estimates and explain claims/repair process Complete timely estimates, supplements, and inspections Negotiate advanced fees for tow, tear down, and storage on all vehicles determined to be a financial total loss at a repair facility or tow yard Adhere to fleet policy Provide extraordinary customer service to all parties involved in the claims process Perform other duties assigned by management or as needed Requirements Fully vaccinated for COVID‑19 High School diploma; a college degree or coursework is a plus Clean background and driving record Computer software knowledge Texas adjuster license or willingness to obtain one #J-18808-Ljbffr
