PACU Registered Nurse

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated PACU Registered Nurse to join their team. The primary responsibilities include delivering comprehensive patient care throughout pre-op, intra-procedure, and PACU recovery stages while assisting physicians during endoscopic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end patient care across pre-op, intra-procedure, and PACU recovery.
• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
• Monitor vitals, sedation, and patient responses to ensure safety and quality care.
• Educate patients on procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA). BLS, ACLS, and PALS can be completed anytime before conversion.

Experience

• 1+ years of Pre-Op / PACU experience preferred.
• Experience in an ambulatory surgery center (ASC).
• Prior endoscopy exposure (preferred but not required).

Skills

• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, patient care management, and aseptic techniques.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions, communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff, and work collaboratively as part of a team.

Additional Requirements

4'10 schedule Monday-Friday, no call, no nights, no holidays.
