Job Title: Senior Research Associate (Analytical Contract)

Location: San Carlos, CA 94070

Duration: 7+ Months (Possible long-term extension)

Position Summary
We are seeking a talented, highly motivated Senior Research Associate to support the analytical and functional analysis of our diverse antibody therapeutics pipeline, including the development and implementation of analytical and functional assays for characterizing antibodies and antibody derivatives.




This position offers exposure to drug development, from early research through development and manufacturing, with opportunities to learn new analytical methods, design experiments, and present scientific findings.







Primary Responsibilities
Plan and perform a wide range of analytical and functional experiments for antibody therapeutics.
Execute protein characterization and analytical techniques, including:

• SEC-HPLC
• SEC-MALS
• CEX-HPLC
• SDS-PAGE
• CE-SDS
• MSD
• ELISA
• In vitro functional assays
• Cell-based functional assays

Compile, analyze, and review experimental data for study reports.
Prepare and deliver PowerPoint presentations to communicate scientific findings.
Develop, write, and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other technical documentation.
Coordinate analytical activities with cross-functional groups and project teams.
Discuss experimental results and present data during project team meetings.
Mentor and train junior technical staff on laboratory methods and best practices.







Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficiency in several of the following protein analysis techniques:

• SEC-HPLC
• SEC-MALS
• CEX-HPLC
• SDS-PAGE
• CE-SDS
• MSD
• ELISA

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to design and execute experiments with minimal technical supervision.
Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a research laboratory setting.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.







Education
* Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline.

* Bachelor's degree: 3+ years of relevant experience.
* Master's degree: 2+ years of relevant experience.
