Front of House Sweet Specialist for our Lincoln Park location.
Sweet Mandy B's dessert bakery is looking for Front of House Counter Staff (this is NOT a seasonal position).Part time availability needed (20 - 28 hours per week), must be available evenings, weekends & holidays.
Hours of operation: 9am - 7pm/ 8am - 8pm (scheduled times will vary)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Greet & assist customers in a friendly manner
- Accurately take guest orders
- Answer questions about products with confidence
- Ensure all food is handled & stored according to food safety standards
- Perform cleaning duties during shift
Qualifications:
- Two year customer service experience in food establishment preferred
- Previous quick service food handling experience in either hospitality or food & beverage industry a plus
- Detail oriented
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Work well with others
Requirements:
- Frequent walking, kneeling, bending and reaching overhead
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 25 pounds
- Availability weekdays, weekends, & holidays
- Must be able to read, speak, & write in English
