Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. Ensure patient safety, manage acute conditions, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver effective treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and determine priority of care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders.
• Monitor patient responses and update care plans accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress accurately.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety guidelines, and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license for Georgia or a Compact state.
• Possess at least 1 year of recent ER nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in acute patient assessment and emergency procedures.
• Exhibit strong communication and critical-thinking skills.
• Complete all required compliance documentation within designated timelines.
• Willing to work night shifts (3x12 hours) and be flexible with holiday requirements.
