Power BI Developer

Job TitlePay Range $45hr - $50hrRequirement/Must HaveBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.12-15 years of overall IT experience with minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience with PowerBI.Strong understanding of data modeling, SQL, and data warehousing principles.Proficiency in DAX and Power Query.Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and other database technologies.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop complex Power BI reports and dashboards using DAX, Power Query, and other advanced features of Power BI.Build efficient data models using Power BI Desktop, create calculated columns and measures using advanced DAX functions, and optimize performance.Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources, including SQL Server, Excel, Share Point, Rest API’s, Azure, and other enterprise databases.Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to gather and refine requirements for BI solutions.Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data presented in Power BI reports and dashboards.Optimize Power BI dashboards for performance and usability.Provide guidance and support to other team members on Power BI best practices.Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Power BI and data visualization.Nice to HaveExperience in Oil & Gas industry.Familiarity with other BI tools such as Cognos.Knowledge of Azure services related to data and analytics.
