Physical Therapist Assistant

Overview Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Geriatric Salary Range: $28.03 - $30.81 per hour Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday, no weekend rotation As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our Physical Therapist to help patients regain movement and manage pain. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. Responsibilities Work closely with the Physical Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans for geriatric patients Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve mobility, strength, and balance Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to continue at home Communicate regularly with the Physical Therapist and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care and confidentiality Qualifications Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant Minimum of 1 year of experience in a geriatric setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassionate and patient-focused attitude Physical stamina to perform job duties, including standing, bending, and lifting #J-18808-Ljbffr Trinity Healthcare Talent Services, LLC
