Job Description:

Southlake, Texas, United States

SCOPE/CONTACTS:

The incumbent is responsible for providing sound and profitable lending solutions to commercial customers and for maintaining a "full service" banking atmosphere. Incumbent has contacts on a daily basis with customers, bank management, loan administration personnel, and other personnel within the Bank to insure the customer's needs are met.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Work directly with Commercial Lenders in every Bank market on certain credits requiring advanced expertise and monitoring
• Financial Reporting and Financial Covenant monitoring/tracking of certain credits as assigned
• Calculate Financial Covenant ratios within the parameters of Loan Agreements and reconcile discrepancies between the Bank and borrowers
• Obtain financial information from clients within parameters of Loan Agreements
• Analyze financials on existing relationships and prepare updated loan file memos and approval memos
• Review Closing Documents to ensure alignment with approved terms by loan committee
• Review Loan Agreements to ensure all necessary Financial Covenants, Reporting Requirements, and other requirements are clearly and correctly defined
• Work with Lenders to correct any discrepancies/inconsistencies between approved terms and Loan Agreements
• Present analysis, findings, and recommendations to managers, especially findings that involve a borrower’s ability to repay
• Keep up to date with company’s lending protocols

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of commercial lending laws, regulations, procedures, and experience in credit and/or collections preferred.
• Incumbent should have a four year business degree with emphasis on accounting and/or finance and one year credit analyst experience from a financial institute.
• Formally credit trained preferred through our FFB Analyst Program or another banking institution
• Thorough documentation abilities and underwriting skills are needed.
• Proven business development skills are also essential.
• Must be able to analyze financial statements and communicate the strengths and weaknesses in a concise and accurate manner.
• Incumbent must exercise good communication and interpersonal skills. Incumbent must have working knowledge of all bank services.
