Key Responsibilities of the RN – PICU

• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in the intensive care unit
• Monitor and assess patient conditions to ensure the highest level of care
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to create and implement care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care

Requirements of the RN – PICU

• Current RN license in Texas
• BLS and PALS certifications
• Experience in a PICU or similar pediatric healthcare setting
