Job Opportunity – Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Cardiology – Michigan

Location: Jackson, Michigan

Schedule: 2 weeks per month – 7 days on, 7 days off (Sunday through Saturday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM). No overnights, no on-call.

Highlights:

• Multiple positions available (2 Advanced Practice Providers needed)
• Hospital-based cardiology role with 80% inpatient and 20% outpatient responsibilities

• Average daily census of 20–25 patients on the inpatient list
• No procedure skills required – focus on follow-up care, discharge planning, and post-procedure management
• Epic EMR system in use at a Level II trauma center

• Locum assignment with potential for locum-to-permanent conversion

Requirements:

• Board Certified (required)
• Active Michigan state license at time of submission (required)
• ACLS and BLS certification through AHA (required)
• Certification through AANP or NCCPA (required)
• Minimum 3 years of prior experience in both inpatient and outpatient cardiology settings (required)
• Acute Care training (preferred)
• Familiarity with Epic EMR system (preferred)
• Clean background with no malpractice or license issues (required)
