Work Environment

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you to deliver high-quality counseling services while enjoying a flexible work-life balance. As part of our clinical team, you will primarily work during standard business hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. We encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing through regular clinical staff meetings and training sessions to enhance our collective expertise and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of mental health diagnoses, creating tailored treatment plans that reflect individual client needs.
• Implement and monitor treatment plans while ensuring ongoing documentation of progress, including further diagnoses and case notes according to organizational policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients by fostering a supportive and non-judgmental environment where they feel heard and valued.
• Engage in creative therapeutic interventions that empower clients to achieve their personal goals and enhance their overall well-being.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including case managers, medical professionals, families, and school staff, to coordinate comprehensive care for each client.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for each session, complying with all relevant guidelines and protocols set forth by our organization.
• Participate actively in clinical staff meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of mental health services through feedback and innovative ideas.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Mind-Mental Behavioral Health, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Active clinical licensure (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
• Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients.
• Strong organizational skills with a commitment to timely documentation of services and other critical files.
• Experience working with a multi-faceted and diverse client base is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of relevant counseling experience in a clinical setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques specific to mental health counseling.
• Experience in case management and coordination of care across multiple service providers.

Compensation and Benefits
