Job link: Key Qualifications Must be a US Citizen. Must have TS/SCI clearance with an active polygraph. At least fifteen (15) years of direct/relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or five (5) years of additional Systems Administration experience on projects with similar processes may substitute). Security+ Certification. Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems. Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution. Manage daily configuration and operation of IT systems. Assist users in accessing and using IT systems. Provide Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution. Support day‑to‑day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Escalate and communicate status to agency management and internal customers. Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform capacity analysis and planning. Provide in‑depth troubleshooting experience for IT systems. Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management for escalated tickets. Support the dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in resolution. Configure and manage UNIX, Windows (or other applicable) operating systems; install/load OS software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, configure network components, and implement OS enhancements. Configure and manage virtual environments. Patch systems with state‑of‑the‑art security and functional parameters. Nice to Have Strong RedHat Linux command‑line administration and troubleshooting. Strong Windows 2012/2016/2019 administration and troubleshooting. Experience with Nessus Scanner and managing Nessus Agents. Ability to write POA&Ms. Knowledge of maintaining a Secure the Enterprise (STE)/ Secure the Network (STN) score. Familiarity with Latte Art, Biscotti, XACTA.
