You’ll integrate HVAC, lighting, energy management, and security systems into unified, high-performance environments while collaborating closely with our field operations team. Tampa - Join our team as a Building Automation Project Engineer in Tampa and make an impact on large scale Hospital projects. You’ll work on integrating HVAC, lighting, energy management, and security systems into high-performance buildings, collaborating closely with field teams and clients. Sunrise - Join our team as a Building Automation Project Engineer in Miami and support large scale medical projects. You’ll work on integrating HVAC, lighting, energy management, and security systems into high-performance buildings, collaborating closely with field teams and clients. Jacksonville Entry Level: $70,000-$90,000 Experienced: $90,000-$110,000 Tampa: Entry Level: $75,000-$96,000 Experienced: $96,000-$117,000 Sunrise Entry Level: $70,000-$116,000 Experienced: $116,000-$135,000 Key Responsibilities Design and implement building automation systems based on project needs Integrate HVAC, lighting, security, and energy platforms Create system schematics, wiring diagrams, and control sequences Program controllers, sensors, and automation devices Support final commissioning and provide technical assistance to field teams and end users Stay current with industry standards, technologies, and best practices Ensure projects meet safety codes and regulatory requirements Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Experience with building automation systems (Niagara, Distech, ACAD preferred) Knowledge of protocols like BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks Strong understanding of HVAC, lighting, energy, and security systems Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills Degree in engineering or relevant field, or equivalent experience Willingness to travel to client sites as needed Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, and reach as needed. Ability to walk active job sites, including climbing stairs and ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
