Life Wellness Therapy specializes in anxiety, trauma, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges, offering both virtual sessions and in-person care in Houston, Texas. All care is grounded in evidence-based methods, cultural humility, and compassion. Role Description This is a part-time, virtual Therapist role based in Houston, TX. The Therapist will provide individual, couples, and family psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities aligned with a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting intake assessments, developing treatment plans, maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation, and collaborating with the clinical team to support client care. The role also involves participating in case consultations, engaging in ongoing professional development, and contributing to a welcoming, inclusive environment for all clients. The Therapist will uphold ethical standards, maintain appropriate boundaries, and support the practice's mission of making therapy empowering and accessible. Qualifications Active licensure in Texas as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent, or eligibility for licensure within a defined timeframe. Master's degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related field. Demonstrated competence in trauma-informed care and evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, EMDR, DBT, EFT, or similar approaches). Experience providing therapy for anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions across diverse client populations. Strong skills in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and maintaining clear, compliant documentation in electronic health records. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build therapeutic rapport and maintain professional boundaries. Commitment to cultural humility, inclusivity, and non-discriminatory practice with clients of varied backgrounds, identities, and experiences. Ability to manage a consistent caseload, work independently on-site, and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team. Willingness to engage in supervision, consultation, and continuing education to support clinical growth and high-quality care.
