Emergency Technician 0.6 FTE Night

Description Emergency Technician at Providence Milwaukie Hospital is 0.6 FTE part time position working during weekdays and weekends on a night shift. Works closely with all members of the emergency team to provide direct patient care to optimize positive patient care outcomes. Assists the physician/nurse practitioner during procedures by providing the appropriate sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment. Maintains proper sterile technique during the procedure. Required Qualifications Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association Upon hire: Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) Annually 1 year of relevant experience; patient care or clinical experience preferred. Experience acquired during certification or licensure process, military experience as medical personnel or senior clinical nursing student is also considered.
