Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, 1 hour lunch 58,000.00 to 52,000.00
We are seeking a motivated, entry-level Junior Cost Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role is ideal for a recent accounting graduate or a professional with 0–2 years of experience who wants to build a career in manufacturing or operational cost accounting. You will assist with daily cost tracking, inventory valuation, and month-end closing activities, including standard account reconciliations and balance sheet support.
Key Responsibilities
- Cost Accounting & Tracking: Assist in maintaining standard costs, analyzing labor and material variances, and tracking production costs.
- Month-End Close Support: Prepare and post standard journal entries, accruals, and month-end adjustments.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform routine balance sheet reconciliations (specifically for inventory, prepaid expenses, or accrued liabilities) to ensure data accuracy. [1, 2]
- Inventory Valuation: Assist with periodic inventory counts, reconciliations, and valuation analyses.
- Reporting & Analysis: Help compile daily/weekly cost reports and support variance analysis under the guidance of senior staff.

Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 0–2 years of accounting experience (internships or course projects in cost accounting are a strong plus).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and basic familiarity with an ERP system or accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Core Competencies: Basic understanding of GAAP, general ledger structures, and the month-end closing process.
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong analytical aptitude, and clear verbal and written communication skills
