Role Description The Licensed Insurance Agent is a full-time, on‑site role based in Pensacola, FL. This role involves advising clients on personal and commercial insurance options, reviewing coverage needs, and recommending policies that align with their risk profiles and budgets. The agent will prospect and develop new business, manage renewals, and maintain ongoing relationships with clients through regular communication and follow‑up. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include quoting and binding policies, handling policy changes, explaining coverage terms, and assisting clients with claims‑related questions and carrier interactions. The agent will collaborate with internal team members and carrier representatives to ensure accurate documentation, compliant practices, and a high level of customer satisfaction. Qualifications Strong insurance sales skills, including prospecting, consultative selling, and closing new and renewal business. Knowledge of personal and commercial insurance products and coverage, with experience in insurance brokerage or agency environments. Foundational understanding of finance and risk management principles related to insurance coverage and pricing. Excellent customer service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and problem‑solving for diverse client needs. Valid state insurance license (Property & Casualty required; Life & Health a plus). Ability to work on‑site in Pensacola, FL and maintain professional relationships with clients, carriers, and colleagues. Proficiency with agency management systems, quoting platforms, and standard office software. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines.
