Industrial Cleaner

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Industrial Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized industrial work environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows safety procedures, communicates effectively with coworkers and management, and can complete assigned tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum building floors and work areas.
• Clean and degrease industrial machinery and equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping and cleaning equipment.
• Assist with cleaning supply and inventory management.
• Empty waste containers daily.
• Identify and communicate workplace hazards to employees and management.
• Use appropriate warning signs, caution tape, wet floor signs, and other safety indicators when needed.
• Maintain required safety signs and labels.
• Follow all company safety, housekeeping, and risk-management policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or industrial cleaning experience is a plus.
• Must be dependable, efficient, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to complete assigned work in a timely manner.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with management and coworkers.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push, and pull as required.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely climb ladders and stairs.
• Must be willing and able to wear safety glasses, gloves, and other required personal protective equipment (PPE).
