USD 25.50 - 28.00 Hourly | HRBT Expansion Project in Norfolk, VA, United States Full Time The Concrete Finisher is tasked with ensuring that poured concrete surfaces are properly finished, leveled, and textured according to project specifications and quality standards. They play a crucial role in achieving durable, visually appealing concrete structures essential for various construction projects. Job Duties Leveling the top surface of freshly poured concrete Operating a power vibrator to compress concreate Applying hardening and sealing compounds to cure the surface of concrete Installing anchor bolts, steel plates and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete Other Duties as Assigned or Requested Performs other related duties as required and assigned Qualifications Required Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control within the construction industry In-depth knowledge of precast concrete manufacturing processes, quality control techniques, and industry standards (ASTM, ACI). Strong relationship-building and communication skills (verbal and written). Proficient in the use of office software, including MS Office. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
