Consumer Complaint Investigation Intern The Consumer Complaint Investigation Intern will learn laws and regulations related to transportation, passenger safety, and towing, investigate and resolve consumer complaints, and assist in rulemaking. The internship is appropriate for a first‑year law student, an undergraduate interested in law school or law enforcement, and anyone committed to consumer protection and public safety. Job Duties Investigate and resolve consumer complaints. Respond in writing and verbally to consumers. Assist in preparing a rulemaking. Conduct hearings or ride‑along with inspectors, depending on intern’s interests. Preferred Qualifications Interest in consumer protection and/or public safety, possibly compliance and law enforcement. Basic computer skills. Ability to track complaints.
