Locum - Physician - Oncologist - Gynecologic Tacoma WA

St. Joseph Medical Center is looking for a Gynecological Oncologist to take call as soon as possible. The site is looking for a provider to cover 1 weekend per month and a few blocks of dates for vacation coverage.

Dates of Coverage:

• Mar 22-31
• Aug 1-15

Details:

• Weekend call Fri (5p) - Mon (8a) - 1 weekend per month.
• Call would include practice and potential ED call as well as rounding on any current inpatients.
• Dates of coverage include internal physician's vacation days. The dates above will include weeknight call coverage (5p-8a). Additionally, during clinic days (Mon-Fri) the office APPs would take primary coverage and only reach out to the locum provider for anything above their scope.
• Admissions per day, Patients per day, Types of Cases, Disclosures that may need to be made, etc: Can be variable, typically 3-4 inpatients in a weekend. FIT team is usually primary.
• Setting: Inpatient.
• Duties: Practice call, ED call, rounding on inpatients (3-4 on an average weekend)
• Required Procedures: Rare, Typical GYN/GYNONC procedures.
• EMR: EPIC
• Reason for coverage: Vacation coverage.

Credentialing Information:

• Timeframe: 45-60 Days
• Credentialing with other facilities: N/A

Travel Preferences:

• Preferred Lodging: local preference
• Air Travel: local preference
• Please detail any anticipated travel exceptions, or example a dietary restriction necessitating specific lodging situations. Travel exception requests will be denied if this information is not part of the provider's presentation.
• Please also indicate the city where the provider will be traveling from in the travel section of the provider's submission.

• Malpractice rates - Must be included in the rate.
• Orientation- Wi ll be 3 days of orientation (half the hourly rate, kicks in after 8 hours) - "per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours"
• 24-Hour Call (Must include 4 Hours Gratis) - ####,650 cap - "Per 24 hours to hold the pager to include 4 hours gratis"
• Callback - ####36 cap - Must match hourly rate - "per hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours completed, gratis prorate to MSA terms"
• Holiday rates - All must be 1.5x the regular rate per CSH policies

• Board Certified Gynecologic Oncology- REQUIRED OR TRULY BE (0-5 years after residency completion)
• Active WA License - REQUIRED
• Active BLS, DEA - REQUIRED
• Must be available for dates in Job description and must disclose (# of shifts per month) for ongoing dates to be considered - REQUIRED
• Clean Malpractice - HIGHLY PREFFEERD
• Local candidates - HIGHLY PREFERRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED.
• Disclose if the provider has worked at any other CHI/Dignity facility - REQUIRED
• COVID VACCINATED - REQUIRED
