Role Description The Senior Proctor is a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA, responsible for overseeing and administering examinations in a professional, secure, and student-centered environment. This role includes monitoring testing sessions, verifying student identity, enforcing exam protocols, and maintaining the integrity of academic assessments. The Senior Proctor also assists students with exam-related questions, provides clear instructions, and ensures accommodations are implemented in line with university policies. Additional responsibilities include training and mentoring proctoring staff, coordinating exam schedules and logistics, documenting testing incidents, and collaborating with faculty and academic leadership to support a positive and compliant testing experience. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong proctoring and exam administration skills, including attention to detail and adherence to testing policies. Candidates should possess clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with students, faculty, and staff. Candidates should possess customer service skills focused on providing a respectful, supportive, and solution-oriented experience for all test takers. Candidates should possess training and mentoring skills to guide, support, and develop other proctors or testing staff. Candidates should possess education-related skills and understanding of academic environments, assessment procedures, and institutional standards. Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in higher education or testing centers, familiarity with accessibility and accommodation guidelines, proficiency with computer-based testing platforms, and the ability to manage multiple exams and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
