Sandblaster Details:

• Temporary position
• $ 20.00 to $ 23.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• Various shifts available (Sunday through Saturday from 06:00pm to 06:00am)

• Responsible for surface preparation and pain operations in support of fabricating wind turbine towers
• Equipment and processes include wash equipment similar to hand car wash, blast hose disbursing metal grit, metallizing equipment similar to welding torch ad two part paint system
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment by following all safety protocols and performing routine housekeeping and workplace organization
• Setup blasting. metalizing and paint equipment by setting parameters and making adjustments.

Sandblaster Qualifications:

• 1 year work experience in heavy fabrication industry, surface prep and/or paint industry, construction or other related field.
• Must be able to read and interpret production drawings and technical work instructions
• Standing and or walking for periods up to 3 hours
• Frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds from floor to shoulder height
• Use of hand tools weighing up to 15 pounds

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
