Step into a rewarding contract position providing Speech-Language Pathology services to students across PreK through 6th grade in a dynamic K-12 school environment. Located near Amherst, MA, this full-time opportunity delivers the chance to make a meaningful difference for children from diverse backgrounds. The role is scheduled for 35-40 hours per week, beginning as soon as possible and running through June 11, in accordance with the academic calendar.

Your primary responsibilities will focus on delivering comprehensive speech and language support for young learners, collaborating closely with teachers, families, and support personnel to ensure optimal student progress.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist License (required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Demonstrated experience in school-based settings, pediatric care, or related healthcare environments
• Skilled in managing diverse caseloads, particularly K-12, with emphasis on PreK-6th
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborative, team-oriented work
• Ability to create and implement individualized therapy plans
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and embracing best practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, tailoring interventions to individual needs
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments
• Develop and update individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain accurate documentation
• Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans
• Participate in professional development sessions and utilize access to the Clinical Advisory Team
