What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees contractors visitors and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures access protocols and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or unusual conditions in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and public responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings operational areas parking areas and perimeter zones to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and/or visitor information and help support authorized access procedures for personnel deliveries and contractors.
• Observe site conditions and report hazards maintenance issues suspicious activity and/or policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and client-specific expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 1 years of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
