Member Experience Specialist I

Rockland Federal Credit Union is seeking a Member Experience Specialist I. This frontline role delivers accurate, efficient, and welcoming service to members by handling routine transactions, supporting basic account needs, and maintaining a balanced cash drawer. The Specialist I promotes products through needs-based conversations and refers more complex requests as needed, while following all security, compliance, and fraud-prevention procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process routine transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments
• Provide account support and respond to basic member inquiries
• Perform account maintenance such as address updates, debit card assistance, and stop payments
• Promote products and services through needs-based conversations and refer complex needs as appropriate
• Balance cash drawer daily and maintain accurate transaction records
• Follow all security, compliance, and fraud-prevention procedures
• Support branch operations and deliver a professional, member-first experience

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in banking, financial services, retail, or cash handling
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Notary Public and credit union experience a plus

In alignment with our commitment to pay transparency, we're pleased to share that the base hourly range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, excluding fringe benefits or potential incentives. If you're hired at Rockland Federal Credit Union, your final base pay will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and experience. We also take pay equity seriously and consider the internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. Please note that the range provided reflects the full base pay for this role.
