Aftermarket D2C Production and Logistics Manager
The RiteScreen Manufacturing Company
Job Description
Job Description
Build a consumer-grade factory floor
Picture this: You spot a bottleneck before first shift ends, stand up a fast Kaizen with Packaging and Engineering, reset the work sequence, and shave hours off lead time. By close of day, your marketplace metrics move, on-time delivery holds, and cost per order trends down. That’s the heartbeat of this role.
At FlexScreen/RiteScreen —the largest screen manufacturer in the U.S.—our eCommerce & Aftermarket business is the fastest-growing strategic priority with direct access to executive leadership. We’re looking for a value stream owner who lives at the intersection of manufacturing and e-commerce fulfillment to run the flow from production order to the customer’s doorstep.
What you’ll do- Command the end-to-end flow: Daily production and labor planning, marketplace fulfillment, order prioritization, shipping execution, and delivery performance across D2C channels.
- Compete on speed and cost: Treat lead time and fulfillment economics as your scoreboard—improvements show up in sales.
- Make quality consumer-grade: Define, enforce, and continually raise the bar with Engineering and Packaging as partners.
- Lead continuous improvement: Gemba walks, visual management, and Kaizen that coach front-line leaders and embed better ways of working.
- Grow a high-performing team: Hire, plan the workforce, cross-train, and develop people.
- Manufacturing leadership (required): Proven performance on a plant floor in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- E-commerce/D2C fulfillment (required): Experience with marketplace fulfillment (Amazon Seller/Vendor Central or comparable), consumer order flow, or direct-to-consumer operations—and the production tempo they require.
- Lean mastery: You’ve led CI, not just attended it.
- Data-savvy: Production metrics, backlog management, and informed decision-making.
- Education: Bachelor’s in Business, Engineering, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
- Influence across functions: Confident liaison with Operations, Engineering, Packaging, Product Development, and the Aftermarket business.
This isn’t a desk job—you’ll be on the floor most of the time. And it’s not a caretaker position. You’re taking ownership of a growth engine with executive attention and the room to build what’s next. Few roles give you the chance to both make and ship under one roof—and to run the value stream that connects them.
If you’ve been waiting for the role where manufacturing discipline and e-commerce fluency finally meet—this is it.
