Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Monitor in Marlborough, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. DayTimeSat01:00 PM - 09:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access, loitering, and/or disruptive behavior while maintaining a professional presence.
- Assist with access control, crowd monitoring, and/or directional support during peak business hours, special events, and other busy periods at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
