In addition, you would work with an experienced team which provides you with the opportunity to learn new industry skills every day.ResponsibilitiesScanning AP InvoicesProcess payments, invoices and vouchersExtract specified information or add appropriate standard coding and attachments to documentsCompile simple summaries of information relating to documents processedLocate and extract information from files and records as requestedMay perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division manually or using a calculatorAssist Senior Accounting Practitioner under close supervisionKofax - Doc Review - Routing invoices to the correct teams for processingKofax - Validation - Validating invoice information for corporate invoicesInvoice research for routing or invoice descriptionsRed Carpet - Setting up new employee reimbursement accountsDaily communication with divisional practitioners & project accountants – written & verbalMSTR Reports - Run for Pay Select Lists every day & for creating corp. selectsChecks - Processing paper checks from pay selectsPaymode - Processing electronic payment files from pay selectsPosting invoices for all corporate departmentsPay Selects - Creating weekly pay select reports for the corporate department paymentsSpecial handling requests for paymentsOccasional proof of electronic paymentsQualificationsEXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONEntry level - none requiredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESVery good written and verbal communication skillsFamiliar with Microsoft Excel and WordSalary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.For Rhode Island, this ranges from $51,000.00-$62,500.00 plus benefits and retirement program.Gilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
