About the Job: The Hardware Fabric Signal engineer will use sophisticated simulation tools and laboratory measurement to design, simulate, validate, debug, and optimize high performance electrical systems. The engineer will work with a diverse team of engineers that support the design, validation, scaling, deployment, and support of industry-leading supercomputer systems. A curious mind and attention to detail are key to success in this role. How You'll Make Your Mark: Design and assess industry-leading 100+ gigabit/s. electrical and optical links and memory interface channels Create simulation models, plan and execute simulation suites Correlate models to measured laboratory results Create PCB signal integrity design rules, stackup, and connector pinout recommendations Track and drive the resolution of electrical issues, execute hands-on testing and debugging to root cause Create documentation, test plans, and test reports About You: Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering. 10+ years' experience in High Performance Electrical Design Experience with Ethernet or Infiniband components and systems, and key performance metrics Experience with Signal Integrity Experience RF and Microwave design is preferred, but not required Experience with 3D Modeling with tools such as HFSS is highly preferred Knowledge and Skills: Experience using electrical design tools and software packages such as Ansoft, HFSS, Allegro Knowledge of signal integrity design concepts Ability to apply analytical and problem solving skills.
