Henry Ford Health System is seeking a full‑time Behavioral Health Admissions RN to join the team in West Bloomfield, MI. About Us Acadia Healthcare and Henry Ford Health System have formed a joint venture to develop, construct and operate a new state‑of‑the‑art two‑story 192‑bed behavioral health hospital. Henry Ford Behavioral Health Hospital will address the ongoing need for psychiatric access for the Greater Detroit Metro area. Shift Availability Full‑time/Nights: 7:00p.m. – 7:30a.m. (3–12 hour shifts with every other weekend rotation) Full‑time/Mid‑Shift/Evenings: 11:00a.m. – 11:30p.m. (3–12 hour shifts with every other weekend rotation) What You’ll Do Review medical documentation for all admissions, complete medication reconciliation, and obtain admission orders from physicians. Facilitate emergency transfers for patients with medical conditions beyond our facility’s capabilities. Review referrals from hospitals, facilities, and community agencies, assessing medical and behavioral acuity and responding within designated timeframes. Respond to inquiries about our facility, providing appropriate recommendations and information. Conduct assessments to determine the appropriate level of care within our facility. What You Bring Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current, unrestricted RN license (or eligibility to practice) in the state of employment. At least one year of nursing experience; behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance use treatment experience strongly preferred. Current CPR certification and willingness to complete de‑escalation and restraint training (provided upon hire, if needed). First Aid certification, as required by state or facility guidelines. Strong clinical judgment, attention to documentation, and the ability to remain calm and therapeutic in behavioral health settings.
