Subpoena Analyst

Job Summary Under the supervision of the Medical Record Director in the Health Information Management Department (HIMD) the Analyst I performs work of average difficulty in a wide variety of consultative and analytical assignments. The incumbent analyzes incoming legal requests that demand the production of medical record documents—Court Order, Subpoena Duces Tecum, Release of Information—and assesses the validity of requests to determine compliance with applicable State and Federal laws (e.g., California Welfare & Institutions Code and HIPAA). Salary $3,861.00 – $6,276.00 per month. New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or the minimum of the alternate range when applicable. Minimum Requirements Salary ranges: $3,861.00 – $4,839.00 (A), $4,181.00 – $5,233.00 (B), $5,014.00 – $6,276.00 (C). Minimum qualifications are detailed in the Class Specification. Telework: No. Working Conditions The employee is required to work any shift and schedule in a variety of settings throughout the hospital and may be required to work overtime and float to other work locations as determined by the operational needs of the hospital.
