Sales Representative III, Interventional Therapies - Tampa / Sarasota, FL

Medtronic seeks a Sales Representative III to sell interventional pain management devices including kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, and ablation therapies in the Tampa/Sarasota territory. The role involves generating new business, managing existing accounts, and executing sales strategies while working independently in a field-based, remote position.

Responsibilities

• Generate new sales by developing leads, recruiting surgeons, qualifying prospects, and conducting sales calls
• Expand existing Kyphon business and identify new revenue opportunities within assigned territory
• Execute approved marketing strategies and create annual business plans with quarterly updates
• Monitor competitive landscape and report findings to district manager
• Maintain customer records, prepare call reports, and respond to service complaints per company policy

Requirements

• High school diploma plus 8+ years medical device or healthcare sales experience, or equivalent education/experience combination
• Orthopaedic, spine, or operating room sales background preferred
• Ability to partner with surgeons and sell new devices or procedures
• Knowledge of spinal anatomy and ability to explain surgical applications after training
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Valid driver's license, active vehicle insurance, acceptable driving record
• Comfortable working independently with high accountability
