Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its team in Boston, Massachusetts. This full-time, in-office position offers the opportunity to work closely with partners and attorneys on commercial litigation, bankruptcy, creditors' rights, and real estate matters. Duties Manage an active litigation and transactional caseload Represent financial institutions and commercial clients in litigation and creditors' rights matters Handle foreclosure actions from commencement through sale Draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents Conduct legal research and prepare analyses Manage discovery, depositions, and hearings Appear in Massachusetts and Rhode Island courts Assist with bankruptcy proceedings and commercial transactions Communicate with clients regarding case developments Requirements J.D. from an accredited law school Active admission to the Massachusetts and Rhode Island Bars Minimum three years of experience in relevant practice areas Excellent legal writing and research skills Ability to manage an active caseload independently Strong communication and organizational skills Education Juris Doctor (J.D.)
