Description

• Conduct evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups using both established assessments and observational techniques.
• Create tailored treatment plans that cater to immediate goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Implement personalized speech therapy interventions targeting communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Collaborate closely with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to produce integrated care plans.
• Provide education for patients and families to enhance progress between therapy sessions.
• Support occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to maintain a continuous care experience.
• Keep precise and timely documentation in compliance with all applicable state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Engage in ongoing education and peer collaboration to stay informed about the latest advancements in the field.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified is a must.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 30 days of employment.
