The successful candidate will operate computed tomography equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining strict safety and compliance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating state-of-the-art computed tomography scanning equipment to produce accurate diagnostic images for physician interpretationYou will prepare patients for CT procedures by explaining the imaging process, positioning them correctly, and addressing any concerns or questions they may haveYour primary duties include positioning patients, selecting appropriate technical parameters, administering contrast media when necessary, and monitoring patients throughout proceduresYou will maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation while ensuring all data is entered accurately into the electronic health information systemQuality assurance is critical; you'll monitor image quality and collaborate with radiologists to ensure diagnostic standards are consistently metYou must adhere to all radiation safety protocols, including proper shielding techniques and dose optimization to minimize patient exposure while maintaining diagnostic qualityYour responsibilities extend to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting minor technical issues, reporting significant equipment problems to the appropriate department, and maintaining a clean and organized workspaceYou will communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and clarify imaging protocolsRequirementsYou must hold current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CTThis certification demonstrates your competency in computed tomography technology and is non-negotiable for this positionYou must be available to work onsite at the Hartford, Connecticut location beginning September 27, 2026Minimum two years of professional CT technologist experience in a clinical healthcare setting is requiredYou should demonstrate proficiency in operating various CT scanners and familiarity with both conventional and advanced imaging protocolsStrong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to CT imaging is essentialExcellent communication skills are required, as you'll interact regularly with patients, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teamsYou must demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracyPreferred QualificationsExperience in a related field is preferredScreening QuestionsHow many years of experience do you have relevant to this Travel CT Technologist role?Do you hold any required licenses or certifications for this position?Are you available to work onsite in Hartford, Connecticut?
