Key Responsibilities :

• Examine and Diagnose : Perform dental examinations, diagnose oral conditions, and create treatment plans for patients.
• Preventive Care : Provide routine dental cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive measures.
• Restorative Procedures : Perform procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and other restorations to treat decayed or damaged teeth.
• Oral Surgery : Extract teeth and perform minor surgical procedures, including simple and surgical extractions.
• Cosmetic Procedures : Provide aesthetic treatments such as teeth whitening, veneers, and bonding to improve patients' smiles.
• Patient Education : Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to maintain oral health.
• Prosthodontics : Provide dentures, partials, and other prosthetic appliances for tooth replacement.
• Collaborative Care : Work with our orthodontists, periodontists, endodontists and oral surgeons when referrals are necessary.

Skills :

• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to formulate comprehensive treatment plans.
• Proficient in the latest dental technologies and techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage patient anxiety and create a comfortable environment.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Work Environment :

• Collaboration with dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative staff.
• Interaction with a diverse patient base, requiring empathy and clear communication.

Schedule :

Full-time, evening and weekend hours.

Compliance :

Adherence to OSHA, HIPAA, and state dental board regulations regarding patient safety, data privacy, and professional standards.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school.
• State Licensure: Must be licensed to practice dentistry in the state of Pennsylvania.
• CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Continuing education in accordance with state regulations.
