Job Title: Endoscopy Technician Profession: Endoscopy Tech Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 15:30 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: High school diploma or equivalent Certifications: None required, CSER preferred Must-Have: Experience as an endoscopy technician. Proficient in the technician role in the procedure room. Experienced in endoscope reprocessing. Description: This position is for a backfill in an endoscopy unit. The facility is a 198-bed, level III trauma center with state-of-the-art operating suites. Healthcare services are provided to a diverse region. Services include medical, surgical, and rehabilitation care. The facility features a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health unit, and a day surgery center. Extensive imaging and lab testing services are also available. Accreditations received include PCI, mammography, and laboratory awards. The facility has been recognized as one of the 20 Most Beautiful Clients in the U.S. It has a strong reputation in healthcare awards. Located in a beautiful river valley, the area offers recreational opportunities. There are three rivers, four golf courses, five lakes, and six National Parks nearby. The community provides attractions for hiking, kayaking, and historical sightseeing. The position involves floating between inpatient and outpatient endoscopy units. Candidates must be well-versed in the technician role within the procedure room and in endoscope reprocessing. Common procedures include screening colonoscopies, polypectomies, EGDs, variceal banding, esophageal dilation, and biopsies. This role requires collaboration with a team that prioritizes patient care and safety.
