NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a growing technology and communications company seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Recruiter for an immediate six-month contract opportunity.

This position will support the company’s People team by coordinating internal promotions, transfers, lateral moves, title changes, and offer-letter processing. The individual will help ensure employee transactions are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal promotions, transfers, lateral moves, and title changes from initiation through completion
• Prepare and distribute offer letters and other employee-change documentation
• Initiate and manage Personnel Action Forms and related approval workflows
• Partner with HR, recruiting, and hiring managers to gather compensation, effective-date, reporting, location, and position information
• Verify that internal offers align with approved compensation guidelines and escalate exceptions appropriately
• Update, close, fill, or reassign requisitions associated with internal employee movement
• Complete HRIS updates and maintain accurate employee records
• Coordinate internal transfer documentation, notifications, and compliance requirements
• Help ensure a smooth handoff between external recruiting activities and internal employee transactions
• Assist with merit changes, job reclassifications, and organizational updates as needed
• Track internal movement activity and offer-letter turnaround times
• Handle confidential employee and compensation information with discretion

Required Qualifications

• One plus years of experience in human resources, recruiting coordination, HR operations, or HRIS administration
• Experience or exposure to preparing offer letters and processing employee changes
• Familiarity with HRIS, payroll, or applicant tracking systems
• Experience with Personnel Action Forms or comparable workflow and approval processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple high-volume, time-sensitive transactions
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and follow-through skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with HR professionals and business leaders
• Ability to work on-site in Eastern Dallas County at least three days per week
• Availability to begin within one to two weeks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Paycom
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience supporting employees across multiple locations or business entities
• Familiarity with compensation bands, merit guidelines, or pay-equity processes
• Experience in a rapidly growing or changing organization
