Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping or janitorial services, preferably within a healthcare or social assistance environment. Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment. Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning and sanitation. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in housekeeping management or related field. Experience with infection control protocols specific to healthcare settings. Familiarity with electronic scheduling and inventory management systems. Previous supervisory experience in a healthcare facility. CPR and First Aid certification. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance of all facility areas. Develop and enforce cleaning schedules, protocols, and safety procedures in compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control standards. Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping team members to promote high performance and adherence to quality standards.
