We are thriving and rapidly expanding boutique Plaintiffs' Complex Personal Injury Law Firm, currently seeks a full-time Paralegal to join our firm, located in Lower Manhattan. A minimum of 3 years of experience working at a New York personal injury law firm (plaintiff or defense) is required.

Eligible candidates are experienced paralegals adept at managing all aspects of a diverse personal injury caseload, from intake through settlement or trial. The ideal candidate looks to grow with us over the long term to become an integral part of our practice. Qualifications. The ability to draft motion papers (affirmations and memos of law) and a thorough working knowledge of New York State court procedures, including the various Courts’ electronic filing systems, are required. Eligible candidates are highly organized, self-motivated, attentive to detail, and adept at multi-tasking and juggling priorities. A strong, self-directed work ethic and positive, can-do attitude are a must, as well as excellent communication and writing skills. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook are required. Fluency in Spanish is a significant plus, but not required.

Responsibilities . The ideal candidate is adept at preparing all documents over the life of a personal injury matter, including settlement demands and complaints, bills of particulars, discovery demands and responses, motions, and mediation statements, as well as correspondence with clients, opposing counsel, and the court. We seek a paralegal capable of accurately and reliably calendaring, tracking, and meeting all litigation-related deadlines.
