Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled PICU Registered Nurse for a temporary-to-permanent assignment. This position offers a 13-week maximum travel assignment and requires candidates to reside more than 100 miles from the designated location.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients requiring critical care support.
• Assess and assign patient care based on acuity and needs.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care protocols.
• Monitor and manage high-acuity patients, including those on pressors, intubated patients, and patients undergoing sedation.
• Implement and adhere to sedation and titration protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Experience working within a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or a similar setting.
• Comfortable managing high-acuity patient care.
• Familiarity with monitoring equipment and patient support systems, including Trilogy and Servo ventilators.
• Experience with infusion pumps and EPIC electronic health record systems.
• Previous experience floating to other areas within an acute care setting is a plus.
