Emergency Medical Technician Basic PRN

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Basic EMT Stonewall County Hospital District invites motivated and compassionate individuals to join our dedicated EMS team and make a meaningful impact on community health and safety. This position is available on a PRN (as‑needed) basis for those committed to providing high‑quality emergency medical care in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide pre‑hospital emergency medical care. Assess patient conditions and determine appropriate treatment interventions. Administer basic emergency medical procedures, including CPR, first aid, and vital sign monitoring. Safely transport patients to medical facilities while ensuring their comfort and safety. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment provided. Collaborate effectively with other emergency response team members and hospital staff. Requirements Valid and current Basic EMT certification. Proven experience in emergency medical services or a related healthcare field preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and focused in high‑pressure situations. Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients safely. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Knowledge of local emergency protocols and procedures.
