Responsibilities Trico Electric Cooperative is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician (Level II or Level III) to support the maintenance and repair of Cooperative fleet vehicles and heavy equipment. Placement at Level II or Level III will be determined based on experience, certifications, and demonstrated competencies. This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs on light-duty vehicles, medium/heavy trucks, and equipment. Work may be performed in the shop or in the field. Level III technicians perform advanced diagnostics and repairs and may serve as a technical resource in the absence of supervision. Qualifications Level II High school diploma or equivalent Minimum three (3) years of experience as an automotive technician with light truck maintenance and repair ASE certifications (or ability to obtain within one year) in: T4 Brakes T5 Suspension & Steering T8 Preventative Maintenance Inspection Ability to obtain a Class A Arizona CDL with tanker endorsement within one year Ability to obtain forklift certification Ability to work irregular hours, nights, or weekends as needed Level III High school diploma or equivalent Minimum five (5) years of experience with diesel medium/heavy trucks and heavy equipment Advanced diagnostic and repair experience ASE certifications (or ability to obtain within one year) in required categories Ability to obtain and maintain emissions inspection certification Valid Class A Arizona CDL with tanker endorsement Ability to obtain forklift certification Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Why work at Trico Trico Electric Cooperative is a member-owned, not-for-profit, distribution cooperative headquartered in Marana, Arizona.
