Head of Marketing
£65k - £75k per yearUniversal Business Team
Head of Marketing Leamington Spa, Warwickshire | £65,000 -75,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits About the Business This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, well-established UK industrial business operating within a specialist technical sector. With a strong market reputation, ambitious growth plans, and significant investment in commercial performance, the business is entering a new phase where marketing will play a critical role in driving customer acquisition, pipeline growth, and brand development. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll have the rare opportunity to shape and own the entire marketing function, influencing both strategy and execution while working closely with senior leadership. This is a highly visible role offering genuine autonomy, accountability, and the chance to make a measurable commercial impact. The Opportunity We’re seeking a commercially-minded, hands-on Head of Marketing who thrives on delivering results, not just activity. This is not a traditional corporate leadership role with a large team underneath you, nor is it a purely strategic position. Instead, we’re looking for a senior marketing professional who enjoys building and running the engine themselves—someone equally comfortable developing the plan, analysing performance, optimising campaigns, managing agencies, and collaborating closely with sales to drive revenue growth. You’ll take ownership of demand generation, CRM marketing, customer journey optimisation, brand management, exhibitions, product launches, marketing collateral, and supplier relationships, creating a more accountable and commercially focused marketing function. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a marketing strategy focused on measurable pipeline growth and customer acquisition. Own and optimise the marketing function within HubSpot, including lifecycle stages, segmentation, automation, reporting, and dashboards. Generate high-quality marketing-qualified leads across both short and long sales-cycle opportunities. Improve marketing-to-sales alignment, lead quality, and hand-off processes. Lead the planning and execution of exhibitions, trade events, and product launches, ensuring robust commercial follow-up. Manage external agencies and suppliers, driving performance, accountability, and return on investment. Own and enhance core marketing collateral, including product literature, presentations, case studies, email campaigns, and sales enablement materials. Develop and maintain a consistent brand experience across all customer touchpoints. Manage website performance, conversion rate optimisation (CRO), and digital customer journey improvements. Take ownership of marketing budget allocation, channel performance, and investment decisions. Provide clear reporting and visibility of marketing contribution to business growth. Why Join? Direct access to senior leadership and genuine influence over business growth. Opportunity to own and shape the marketing function from end to end. Broad remit covering demand generation, CRM, brand, events, collateral, digital performance, and customer experience. High visibility role with clear impact on commercial success. Join a growing business where decisions are made quickly and achievements are recognised. Ideal for an ambitious marketing leader who wants responsibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to build something meaningful without navigating layers of corporate hierarchy. Requirements Proven experience in a senior B2B marketing role within industrial, manufacturing, engineering, machinery, equipment hire, technical products, or similar sectors. Demonstrable success in building pipeline and generating measurable commercial outcomes. Strong HubSpot expertise with hands-on ownership of CRM marketing, automation, segmentation, reporting, and lead management. Experience working within lean, fast-moving businesses where autonomy and accountability are expected. Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Strong understanding of customer journeys, proposition development, sales enablement, and conversion-focused marketing. Experience managing agencies, suppliers, budgets, and marketing performance metrics. Excellent stakeholder management skills and the confidence to influence senior leadership. Benefits Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 Performance-related bonus scheme 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Option to purchase additional holiday entitlement after qualifying service Company pension scheme Private healthcare following successful completion of probation Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Free on-site parking Complimentary refreshments Enhanced company sick pay linked to length of service If you’re a commercially driven B2B marketer who enjoys combining strategic ownership with hands-on delivery and wants to play a key role in a growing industrial business, we’d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
