About the Position

We are seeking a qualified Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia services at a hospital in Flint, Michigan. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule with 10- and 12-hour shifts in a busy surgical setting. The CRNA will work under physician supervision and provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures. Pediatric cases are not included.

Schedule & Facility Details

·2–3 shifts per week

·10- and 12-hour shifts

· Weekend coverage required

· No call responsibilities

·16 operating rooms

· Approximately 35 surgical cases per day

· No pain management cases

· No pediatric cases

· EMR: Cerner

Responsibilities

· Provide anesthesia care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.

· Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and review patient medical histories.

· Develop and implement anesthesia care plans under physician supervision.

· Monitor patients throughout anesthesia and surgical procedures.

· Manage patient airway, vital signs, and anesthesia-related needs.

· Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor patient recovery.

· Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

· Maintain accurate documentation and comply with established clinical protocols.

Requirements

· Current Michigan CRNA license.

· Certification through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).

· Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).

· Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).

· AANA membership or applicable credentialing requirements.
