University of West Alabama: Academic Affairs: College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics: Department of Mathematics Location University of West Alabama Open Date Feb 02, 2026 Description Teach twelve to fifteen hours of mathematics courses each semester (possible combination of on-campus and online courses). Maintain ten (10) weekly office hours. Serve on departmental and University committees asd needed. Perform other duties as assigned by the Chairperson. Qualifications Required: Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field. Successful experience in teaching mathematics at both the secondary and college levels. Strong commitment to excellence in teaching. Ability to work effectively with administration, faculty, staff, and students from varied socio-economic/ethnic backgrounds. Successful teaching in a small student-centered regional university setting. Experience and interest in computer technologies and instruction. Experience with online courses.
