Job Overview As a Nextech HVAC/R Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering reliable, high‑quality service to commercial clients. From troubleshooting to repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance – you’re the expert our customers trust. Typical Day Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components Perform maintenance and emergency service as needed, including after‑hours on‑call rotations Accurately document all service details using company‑provided iPads Maintain your company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory to the highest standards Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth scheduling and service delivery Identify additional service opportunities and share them with customers Compensation and Benefits Sign‑On Bonus – Up to $3,000 for qualified candidates. Qualifications High school diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an HVAC/R field technician May require a Journeyman's license in some states May require state specific licenses EPA certification and a valid driver’s license Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans Basic comfort with mobile apps and technology A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to quality Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when needed Physical Requirements Able to safely work at heights using ladders up to 28–32 feet and operate equipment within manufacturer weight limits Able to lift, carry, and maneuver tools and equipment, including extension ladders, up to 100 lbs Able to bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach into confined spaces, and perform twisting, pushing, and pulling tasks Able to maintain physical stamina and endurance for repetitive tasks and extended activity Able to stand, sit, walk, and climb ladders throughout the day Able to use vision, hearing, and verbal communication continuously Able to operate work‑related equipment such as iPads, cell phones, and computers Able to travel to customer sites as needed Occasional office work required Must follow all applicable safety procedures Reasonable accommodations may be provided under the ADA for qualified individuals if essential job functions can still be safely performed Physical Activity: This is a physically active role. #J-18808-Ljbffr Nex-Tech
