Moderator
We're partnering with a fast-growing eCommerce company that is expanding its livestream shopping and social commerce presence. They are seeking a Moderator to support live shopping broadcasts, ensuring a seamless experience for both hosts and viewers. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys social media and live content, and excels at multitasking behind the scenes. As the operational backbone of each livestream, you'll support hosts, manage product feeds, engage with audiences, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure broadcasts run smoothly from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the technical and operational aspects of live shopping broadcasts.
- Support on-camera hosts throughout livestream events.
- Upload and manage products within the livestream platform, ensuring accurate pricing and sequencing.
- Monitor audience comments and engagement in real time.
- Respond to viewer questions and surface important comments or purchasing inquiries to the host.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during broadcasts, including product feed, connectivity, or streaming concerns.
- Coordinate show pacing and product flow to maintain an engaging viewer experience.
- Communicate with hosts behind the scenes regarding audience feedback, engagement trends, and key moments during broadcasts.
- Assist with pre-show preparation, including product setup, organization, and quality checks.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure products are loaded and available prior to each show.
- Monitor performance metrics such as viewer engagement, audience growth, and sales activity.
- Document post-show feedback, operational insights, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Strong interest in social media, livestreaming, eCommerce, or digital content.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Familiarity with TikTok and social media culture.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a live environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Interest in fashion, retail, consumer products, or luxury brands is a plus.
- Experience in livestream operations, social media management, eCommerce coordination, customer engagement, broadcast production, or related fields is preferred but not required.
