Role Description The Civil Engineer role at Kloudhire is a full-time, on-site position based in Charlotte, NC. In this role, the Civil Engineer will perform civil engineering design for infrastructure and land development projects, including site layouts, grading, utilities, and roadway design. The position involves planning and evaluating project requirements, preparing technical drawings and reports, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory agencies. The Civil Engineer will manage stormwater management design and analysis, ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and support permitting activities. Daily responsibilities also include reviewing project specifications, contributing to proposals, and supporting project delivery from concept through construction. Qualifications Civil engineering expertise, including Civil Engineering Design and general Civil Engineering principles. Experience working as or with Civil Engineers in consulting, municipal, or private development environments. Strong Planning skills for project scoping, scheduling, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Hands-on experience with Stormwater Management design, hydraulic/hydrologic modeling, and drainage systems. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; EIT or PE licensure in North Carolina is preferred. Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and stormwater modeling tools). Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations, permitting processes, and applicable engineering standards. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work on-site in Charlotte, NC, collaborate effectively on multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple projects and deadlines. #J-18808-Ljbffr Kloudhire
